Burkitts Reef is located in front of Bargara and is a popular shore diving site that is covered in lovely hard corals and home to stingrays, crayfish, moray eels, wobbegongs and typical reef fish including angelfish, lionfish, scorpionfish and butterflyfish.

Burkitts Reef is suitable for snorkelers and divers of all levels and expertise.
